Graham Crawford joins HPAC as a professional runner with strong ties to North Carolina. He grew up in Burlington, NC, and attended Williams High School, where he was a cross country state champion and a three-time state runner-up on the track. He ran collegiately at NC State, earning seven All-ACC honors and All-American recognition in 2015 after making the NCAA final in the 1500.

After graduating from NC State in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in graphic communications, Graham turned professional. He trained with the Hoka New Jersey New York Track Club under legendary middle distance coach Frank “Gags” Gagliano before joining the Reebok Boston Track Club in Charlottesville, VA in 2021.

Graham has competed at the US Olympic Trials twice in the 1500 (2016 and 2021) and has qualified for every US Outdoor Championship meet since turning pro. On the roads, he finished fourth at the USATF 5k Road Championships in NYC in 2021 and ran 1:03:52 in his half marathon debut in Houston in 2023.

In addition to his racing career, Graham has coached high school and middle school runners for years. He guided the Hackley School cross country team to its first NYSAIS state championship and has worked with athletes remotely, helping them earn all-state honors, state championships, and personal bests
